Prior to the kitchen remodel this house had a very boxy and dark layout. You felt as if you were headed through a maze as you went from room to room. The goal of this remodel was to tear down walls and give this house an open layout concept. Walls were removed between the kitchen and dining room as well as a sitting room. Using the same tile floors throughout the entire space helped to really open up the house, making it bright and inviting.
The kitchen was done in a modern style with hints of the traditional. The quartz island counter-top was done in a waterfall edge design. The quartz counter-tops are designed with an accented honed gray, and the painted tile backsplash pops amongst the white cabinets. This kitchen complete with a dining area and sitting area is a crowd pleaser!
