To give this space a touch of pizazz we incorporated a vertical mosaic backsplash extending from the counter to the ceiling. This vertical element compliments the floor to ceiling cabinetry and gives the ceiling a sense of more breathing room.

The Amiano's did a masterful job converting my small ~750 sq ft. single story ranch into a 2300 sq ft. 2-story colonial with 3 car garage.
