For a bathroom that had a ton of space, everything in it seemed small. The vanity was double but looked more like a single and the tub and shower were cramped on the one wall. The homeowner didn’t use the built-in garden tub that so many homeowners have but never utilize. With skylights and large corner windows the space still felt dark. None of these factors were leading to a very inviting master bath.
Creating a massive 4×6 shower and removing the garden tub allowed for cabinets to be installed under the windows. The small double vanity was replaced with a larger double vanity and shared drawer storage. There is now plenty of room and ample room for two. The small storage closet was also removed and replaced with a full height cabinet. The color palette crates a calm and relaxing ambiance and allows for the natural light to really flow through the space.
