This Cherry Hill NJ Addition expanded the current footprint of the home along with a remodel of the kitchen. The layout is a typical Cherry Hill NJ home style that is prominent in the neighborhood and we have remodeled the style before. This time we expanded and fully transformed the space to reflect the homeowner’s wants and needs.

This home is one of many in a development that has similar styles and layouts. The kitchen was the same as one we have remodeled previously so we knew what to expect going in. This time around we were expanding the footprint out of the back of the house to allow for a larger kitchen and updated family room. The kitchen was small and cramped with not much storage. The layout has proven to be cumbersome before and this one was no exception. Storage and maneuverability were high on the list of issues for the homeowners.
The addition involved taking out the wall where the windows were and expanding out the back. This added extra wall space for cabinets and additional windows for natural light to flow throughout the space. Not only do they have room for their dining table but a full island with seating. The dark, traditional wood cabinetry pairs wonderfully with the speckled granite and dark hardwood floors. With added recessed and pendant lights, the room illuminates and highlights the detail throughout.
