A Whole Home Remodel Done Right in Hamilton, NJ

Love where you live but your sick of your house ? A lot of people in New Jersey feel that way believe it or not. Despite our frustrations with many different living expense conditions here in New Jersey we still want to stay here.  A lot of homeowners have built up the equity they need in their home to make their house exactly how they would like it instead of searching endlessly for that new home. We just completely a beautiful whole home remodel for a retired couple in Mercer County. They did not want to move, they wanted to enjoy their retirement years in their existing house comfortably. The goal was to make the house ready for any physical changes in the future and also first floor living friendly.

I love this story because it covers so many areas of Design/Build construction. Our staff had to take every aspect of the homeowners wants and needs. When you are mixing various ideas together into one remodel it can be challenging. There are often several design meetings just to get to the preliminary design. Then a few more to get to the final design. In large remodels such as this communication between the architect and the builder are crucial. To have the two working on the same team towards the same end goal for their client. That is the optimal scenario.

In this remodeling scenario we added on a rear addition, remodeled the kitchen, entrance, added a deck, remodeled the exterior of the house and remodeled the existing family room.  The exterior remodel included Marvin Window, Thermu Tru door with sidelights, Certainteed porch accents, and James Hardi Plank Lap siding. The interior remodel included Fabuwood Birch cabinets, various Kohler, Broan, and Avalon Tile products. Please watch the slideshow for before and after pictures.
